Week 11 Mr. Panama Football Player of the Week — Linden-Kildare RB LaDavian Johnson

Tigers sophomore TAKES HOME STATEWIDE HONORS FOR WEEK 11 OF THE 2017 TEXAS HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL SEASON.

Congratulations to Linden-Kildare RB LaDavian Johnson, the Week 11 winner of the Mr. Panama Football Player of the Week award, presented by Wells Fargo in conjunction with the Academy Sports + Outdoors Panama Bowl. The 5-5, 140-pound sophomore ran for 295 yards and five touchdowns and added a receiving touchdown in the Tigers’ 49-6 win over Quinlan Boles.

Tigers fans can also be praised for their part in this honor, as they voted often enough to make sure that LaDavian received the most votes in the poll on PanamaFootball.com.

Congratulations to all 10 candidates for this week’s award: Everman WR JT Clark, New Caney QB Jordan Cooper, Jacksonville QB Dontrail Session, Atlanta QB Andrew Samples, San Antonio O’Connor QB Roel Sanchez, Gatesville WR Derrick Bayer, Rivercrest QB Lucah Strickland, Clear Creek QB Sam Mathews and Mesquite Poteet RB Seth McGowan.

Every Monday at noon, PanamaFootball.com will announce ten candidates for that week’s award, based on the previous week’s on-field performance. Voting will close at noon each Friday, with the winner announced on Panama Football Today at noon. The award will be given every week through Week 14.
