Week 4 Mr. Panama Football Player of the Week — Mildred QB/DB Wesley Huitt

Eagles senior TAKES HOME STATEWIDE HONORS FOR WEEK 3 OF THE 2017 TEXAS HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL SEASON.

Congratulations to Mildred QB/DB Wesley Huitt, the Week 4 winner of the Mr. Panama Football Player of the Week award, presented by Wells Fargo in conjunction with the Advocare V100 Panama Bowl. The 5-10, 190-pound senior ran for 140 yards and two touchdowns, threw for 111 yards and two touchdowns, returned an interception for a touchdown, returned a kickoff for a touchdown, forced a fumble and recorded 8 tackles in the Eagles’ win over Riesel.

Eagles fans can also be praised for their part in this honor, as they voted often enough to make sure that Wesley received the most votes in the poll on PanamaFootball.com.
