Week 6 Mr. Panama Football Player of the Week — Magnolia QB Reese Mason

Bulldogs senior TAKES HOME STATEWIDE HONORS FOR WEEK 6 OF THE 2017 TEXAS HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL SEASON.

Congratulations to Magnolia QB Reese Mason, the Week 6 winner of the Mr. Panama Football Player of the Week award, presented by Wells Fargo in conjunction with the Advocare V100 Panama Bowl. The 6-2, 190-pound senior threw for 491 yards and 6 touchdowns while adding 64 yards and two scores on the ground in the Bulldogs’ 56-49 win over Tomball.

Bulldogs fans can also be praised for their part in this honor, as they voted often enough to make sure that Reese received the most votes in the poll on PanamaFootball.com.

Congratulations to all 10 candidates for this week’s award: Mission Veterans Memorial QB Landry Gilpin, Dallas Skyline QB Velton Gardner, Crosby RB Craig Williams, El Paso Montwood QB Andrew Fernandez, Tenaha QB CJ Horn, Elysian Fields WR Cole Myers, Longview DB Jalen Carr, Franklin LB Will Fannin and Palestine DB Josh Williams.
